The government has announced that petrol price will go up by 78 sen at midnight - a 40.6 percent jump from RM1.92 per litre to RM2.70. PS: pump or not pump?change or not change?
The G even compared the petrol price with S'pore. they converted the Price to RM. It's RM5.20. We only need to pay RM 2.70 mar... Wahhhhhhhhhhh, sounded really cheap ya, our petrol price. But how much our salary, our expenses.... how much u eat a plate of chicken rice at the chicken rice HAWKER stall and how much if u eat at FOODCOURT with air-condition in S'pore ? How much u need to pay for ur BRANDED ORAL-B toothpaste in M'sia and wat about in S'pore !!
It is unfair to compare our petrol price with Singapore, for 2 facts:
1. Singapore GDP per capita is 3.7 times of Malaysia. Singapore $49.7k Malaysia $13.1k
2. Singapore does not produce any oil and government does not generate income from rising oil price. Malaysia does benefits from rising oil price because Malaysia is oil exporting country!!
